RETURNS POLICY

1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

For physical products purchased online, consumers may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days from the day on which they, or a person designated by them other than the carrier, receive the product.

This right is exercised in accordance with Romanian Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 on consumer rights.

2. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

Before the 14-day period expires, send an unambiguous withdrawal request to contact@alexandruvlad.com. Please include:

• the order number;
• the buyer’s name and the email address used for the order;
• the product or products being returned;
• a clear statement that you are withdrawing from the purchase.

We will reply with the return instructions and the address to which the parcel must be sent. Please do not send a parcel before receiving these instructions.

3. CONDITION OF RETURNED PRODUCTS

The product must be returned with its accessories and, where reasonably possible, in its original packaging. You are responsible only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.

Please package books carefully so that they are protected against bending, moisture and damage during transport.

4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

The direct cost of returning products is borne by the buyer. Parcels sent cash on delivery will not be accepted. If the product delivered was incorrect, defective or damaged before delivery, the seller will bear the reasonable return costs.

5. REFUNDS

All amounts received for the returned physical products, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order, will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which the withdrawal request was received.

The refund may be withheld until the products are received or until you provide proof that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first. The refund is made using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless another method is expressly agreed, without additional refund fees.

6. DIGITAL CONTENT AND EXCEPTIONS

The right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content supplied without a tangible medium (for example, ebooks) where supply began with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal would thereby be lost, as provided by law.

Other statutory exceptions under Article 16 of OUG 34/2014 apply where relevant, including personalised products made to the consumer’s specifications.

7. INCORRECT, DAMAGED OR NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS

If you receive an incorrect, damaged or non-conforming product, write to contact@alexandruvlad.com and include the order number and clear photographs. This procedure is separate from, and does not limit, your statutory rights regarding conformity.
